Thanks so much for the mini-split you guys installed in my home office. What used to be almost unbearable in the summer, is now one of the most comfortable rooms in our house year round. Even after a month of the install and had a very small issue, you guys were prompt at coming back out ASAP and fixing the issue at no cost to keep everything nice and cool. Thanks Again!
I live in Rincon, GA. Last week the air conditioner in our home quit functioning due to a bad compressor. You can imagine the issues that we experienced when we woke up to a house with an inside temperature of 82 degrees. I want to say a BIG thank you for the prompt service that we received from your company and especially to Mike. Mike did a wonderful job in getting our new air conditioner installed in a very short time. Once again, thanks for the quality service and helping our family out on such short notice.
Thank you for a job well done. Everyone at Gordon's Air was like a breath of fresh air to do business with. Thank you for caring, as trust is hard to find find in business these days.
Thanks again for the quick, efficient work on the new heat pump and air handler. Anyone who needs your service is certainly going to get your info from me! Here's to another satisfied customer!
Quality heating and cooling products are just where we begin. The technicians at Gordon's Heating & Air LLC are trained and equipped to handle Heating Services, Ventilation Services, Air Conditioning Services and many other residential and commercial services.
An air conditioner is the outdoor unit that cools air and sends it to the indoor unit for circulation through your home. Indoor and outdoor units are designed to work together. When the air conditioner is properly matched with a furnace or air handler, you get maximum efficiency and longer system life.
Furnaces heat and circulate warm air in the winter. Furnace heating ability is measured with an Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) percentage. A higher AFUE percentage indicates a more efficient furnace.
A split system heat pump keeps homes comfortable all year long. In summer, it draws heat out of your home to cool it. In the winter, it draws heat from outside air into your home to warm it.
In a packaged system, all equipment is built into an outdoor unit, usually on a concrete slab or other platform. The “package” that gives it its name provides central air conditioning during the summer and heat in colder months.
Thermostats are extremely important because they are your interface and control system for your heating and air conditioning equipment. This is the device that will give you the information on what the equipment is doing, when it needs to be serviced, and allows you to set the exact temperature and humidity you want to maintain in your home.
